I was asked to give an honest review of the already FREE E-copy of Paisley Pattern Coloring Book. So basically, I got this for FREE and you can get it FREE too!Why? Because it is not really a coloring book. It is a preview book of the types of pictures that are contained within the paperback copy of the original book (at time of review, paperback version is $6.92)
So here's what you get:
1. A free E-download to your kindle device (phone, tablet, etc)
2. A link to download and print coloring pages on your own. My link didn't actually work straight from phone- so I just went to [...]to download. The one thing I don't particularly like, is that you have to provide your email address in order to have download access. ALSO- the pages to download are not the same as the copy of Paisley Patterns, which was the actual book I was hoping to color from
3. Then there is an 8 page 'report' on the benefits of coloring...aka 'coloring is awesome'. This would be great if I actually wanted to read something...but no! I just want to COLOR! Just give me pretty pictures, please!
4. Then there are 14 'teasers'- black and white photos of what is actually in the paperback book. I am not quite sure why the company, Color Therapists, when through the trouble to provide an entire Ebook just to do this. Amazon does have the 'Look Inside" feature that they could have used in order to give a thorough preview of the paperback copy.
So, if you actually want to color: Don't waste your time downloading the Ebook.

Purchased this adult coloring book ( download edition) to check if we want to purchase this book & to test out the multiple download pages. We have checked out many of the these type of coloring books & these compare better than most for design & challenge to color; which is what we are looking for in a coloring art project. This book is unique in the patterns, but some of the patterns seem to be slightly similar to others in the same book.
We also love that you can download certain pages to try out before you purchase any coloring book from Coloring Therapists. The pages to download are a mixture of what they have to offer from 6 different books. Plus we like that we can print them on thicker paper to color on; we use art paper or bright cardstock to make the colors pop. This bonus makes it nicer all around, to be able to use quality color pencils on quality art paper, to get a nicer finished art project. We hang our completed pictures right next to our niece's projects on the frig; in one of those nice frames that holds 30-40 pages for display.
We started coloring a few years ago with our niece & it made us feel so relaxed, that we checked into adult color books, now they seem to be very popular & easier to find. Another nice thing in this book, is in foreword it goes over the benefits & importance of coloring. It also explains that coloring is good for Alzheimer's & Dementia and helps with stress & anxiety; all of which we found very interesting.

Cons
Download samples are not from this book, but there are 6 different books to print pages from. Plus you cannot print them from your , which seems odd.
& Price is decent, but could be better...maybe they could make a larger book or bundle a few books to help lower the overall cost.
Overall we really like this adult coloring book ( download edition) and would recommend this to anyone looking to check out the artwork before buying the paperback book. This book gave us a preview and now since we like this book, we will probably buy the actual coloring book since we cannot print out each page. Just a quick side note...we thought our niece would enjoy doing this book with us, but found out it is not for most children of a younger age; since they might become frustrated with the thin & tight coloring areas. We would have given this a 4-star to 4.5-star rating for the cons, but as a sample to check out & for the included downloads to try, we had to give this a 5-star rating.

This ebook is not meant for reading or coloring. It's meant to trick you into signing up for a mailing list where content farms and desperate self-published authors hock their mediocre books in the hopes you'll increase their sale rankings through free purchases and reviews. It's super scammy and an insult to buyers.
As with every other ebook I've reviewed from this publisher, the text was outsourced to a content farm or freelancer who writes an essay-style intro about the topic, similar to what your 4th grader would write for Common Core. They use the exact same text in every one of their coloring books. The art they use is clipart, stock photos, and pieces they stole from other artists--none of which are ever credited. I've included samples of the coloring cutouts included in this "preview" which show that this is mostly a zentangle style that was obviously taken from multiple sources (I reverse image searched to find them) and is of varying image quality, most of which are VERY low quality.
Since the link to the coloring pages email list is broken, there's no way to tell if the full resolution images are any better quality, but the included images are low quality. While the coloring page link was suspended by the ISP (very telling), the link to the "I Just Read It" book club will in fact sign you up to receive even more discounted, poor-quality books from content farms and desperate authors. That's the goal of these scammy publishers they create mediocre content to get you to sign up for more mediocre content which they use to sell their mailing list services to mediocre authors or other content farms. The actual content they produce is garbage, and it's completely unrelated to the book you found the link in.
